Rachel is currently working part time as she balances her Osteopathic practice and her new role as a mother. Rachel is accepting existing and new patients at this time. Availability is limited. Rachel has a true, natural passion for the health and well-being of the individuals in my community. Due to conditions that she has personally sustained in the past she has a strong understanding of the physical and emotional effects that injuries and illnesses can inflict on an individual. These experiences have allowed her to conduct her Osteopathic manual practice in a personal, yet professional manner. This has given Rachel the opportunity to recognize the importance of patience and thoroughness within the treatment process to ensure the optimal safety and well-being of the individuals she provides.
Education
Rachel has successfully completed a comprehensive four-year osteopathic education program from The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Her studies have provided her with a classical and principle-based understanding of osteopathic thinking, assessment and treatment. Rachel also holds a Bachelor in Applied Health Sciences.
Experience
Rachel has been practicing as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner for over a year, gaining 1500 hours of clinical experience. Rachel has completed +4200 hours of clinical, hands-on practice, and instruction from experts in the profession of Osteopathy.
Memberships
Rachel is a member of Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN) and it's provincial affiliate, the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA). Rachel holds good standing in Educational and Professional Standards, as well as Standards in Practice set by OSTCAN.
